Fort Lee, New Jersey – Three partners at Maggiano, DiGirolamo & Lizzi, P.C. have been named to the 2026 New Jersey Super Lawyers list, and associate Mark Feuerstein has been selected for the Rising Stars list. Senior partner Michael Maggiano, managing partner Christopher DiGirolamo and partner Michael Lizzi were recognized for their work representing injured people in New Jersey and New York.
Super Lawyers rates attorneys through peer nominations, independent research and evaluations by other lawyers. No more than 5% of attorneys in a state are named to the Super Lawyers list each year. The Rising Stars list is limited to 2.5% of attorneys who are 40 or younger or who have practiced for 10 years or less.
“It means something when other trial lawyers put your name forward. They’re the ones who see how you prepare a case and how you treat your clients,” said Michael Maggiano, senior partner at Maggiano, DiGirolamo & Lizzi, P.C. “I’m especially glad to see Mark on the Rising Stars list. He worked as a prosecutor and on the defense side before he came here, and he uses all of that for the people he represents now.”
Maggiano founded the firm and has practiced personal injury law for more than 45 years. He is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a civil trial attorney and is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He is a past president of the New Jersey Association for Justice and was named to the Top 100 New Jersey Super Lawyers list in 2022.
DiGirolamo joined the firm in 1992 and became managing partner in 1999. His practice centers on car accidents, construction accidents and workers’ compensation claims. He is a New Jersey state accredited mediator and served as co-counsel on the trial team in the Tropicana garage collapse litigation, which resulted in a $101 million recovery.
“Our clients don’t come to us because of awards. They come to us because they got hurt and need someone to stand up to an insurance company,” said Christopher DiGirolamo, managing partner at Maggiano, DiGirolamo & Lizzi, P.C. “When other lawyers say we do that well, it gives people one more reason to trust us with their case.”
Lizzi joined the firm in 1996 and became a partner in 1999. He handles injury litigation in both New Jersey and New York, including wrongful death, motor vehicle and highway design cases, and he led the launch of the firm’s New York practice in 2008. He has been named to the New Jersey Super Lawyers list in previous years as well.
Feuerstein focuses on truck crashes, slip-and-fall injuries and wrongful death claims. Before joining the firm, he served as an assistant prosecutor in the Special Victims Unit of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office and clerked for Judge Nesle A. Rodriguez in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson Vicinage. He also worked at a civil defense firm, where he represented commercial clients in personal injury lawsuits. He earned his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law and is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.
The firm represents people hurt in car, truck and motorcycle crashes, along with families who have lost a loved one and people living with catastrophic injuries. Its attorneys handle cases from offices in Fort Lee and Hackensack, New Jersey, and the Bronx, New York.
